The Mighty Monkey-Men: Chapter 1 (The Director’s Cut)

Greetings everyone! It’s been a long time. Too long. I’ve missed you. So, what, “oh what” have you been up to T. Biddy? Glad you asked!

Over the course of the past few months I’ve been fine tuning the comic that many of you read on a semi-regular basis. There were some pages and story flow I was less than thrilled with, so I went back and took a look at it with fresh eyes and got some second opinions. My wife, Stacey and my friend Roy Maurer were very helpful in getting this project where I wanted it to be.

First, I want to thank everyone who was so encouraging with this project. It means a lot to me that people were reading it and enjoying it. So, what I offer to you is a little treat…

What you are about to read is the first chapter of The Mighty Monkey-Men, in it’s entirety. If you’ve read it before, I encourage you to take a look at it again. It has be rewritten, revised (with my actual custom created font) and in many places redrawn. I think this reading of it is truest to my initial vision of the project. I promise it will be a new experience.

What’s next?

For a limited time I am leaving this up on my blog. My next step is to seek print publication. So, in the event this comic is published in the future, this will be the last time you will read it online. That bears repeating. This could be the last time you read this comic online.

If you enjoy it and know someone else who might, I encourage you to tell them. Tell everyone. Even grandma. Be the person who knew about it before anyone else. Make them all envy you.
